Bamburgh Beach

A decent option compared to the other Northumberland beaches. Mainly because it faces slightly more north than the other options, so the bigger northern groundswells land nicely.

NE Surf operates in the area (also at Beadnell Bay) - but best to phone ahead of time if you're looking for rentals.

Both the two nearest car parks are free, but contain a 2m height barrier at both entrances. There's a few other options closer to the town, but expect a bit of a walk to get to the break.
