Lossiemouth

The spot

Lossiemouth surf is centred on East Beach, the sandy stretch beside the River Lossie in Moray, Scotland. It’s the main surf beach here, with access from town via the bridge off Clifton Road and the Esplanade. The beach itself is quite interesting, with it being a floating sand bank, cut off by the river from the rest of the town. I believe the parking along the Esplanade is free, but there's also another dedicated car park a short walk away too. New Wave Surf School operate from the beach and offer gear hire and lessons.
