The spot
Montrose bay is a huge, almost uninterrupted sandy beach break, only contained and split up by both the North and South Esk rivers.
Like with most of the beach breaks - there isn't any particular lineup here. But most people tend to stay close to the car park out of convenience. You can probably wonder off into a remote portion of the beach to discover some untouched peaks though.
