Pease Bay

The most consistent spot on Scotland's east coast. Close to Edinburgh, so it gets busy, especially on weekends and summer evenings. Parking is the guest parking spot in the caravan park, with some overflow spaces along the road to the site. Come early, as the car park is often completely filled up by 10am on good swell days. Mostly a sandy break break - although there is a reef break at the rocky southern end. Lefts are generally slower moving, and give some nice long rides. Also, there is a public shower at the beach, but from what I've seen it hasn't been working for a while.
