Bundoran Beach

There's actually a few surf spots located within Bundoran town, often they get mixed together. The beach itself, also just called "Main Beach", is the most popular, and forgiving one. It's primarily a beach break, that apparently works better on higher tides.

The obvious reef just south of Main Beach is "The Peak" - a hollow A-frame break that's quite well known as the venue for surfing competitions of the past. The local surf guide has a really good map showing this off.

A few surf shops operate here, with Surfworld in the town doing rentals, and Bundoran Surf Co offering lessons.
